Damien Van Oost is an Engineer from Ecole des Mines of Saint-Etienne with an Advanced Master in European energy markets from Centrale Paris. Before joining HINICIO, Damien spent three years helping Storengy, ENGIE subsidiary specialised in underground natural gas storage, to implement its renewable hydrogen strategy and develop its first projects. Among others, he led the structuration of the HyPSTER initiative aiming to demonstrate hydrogen storage in salt cavern while supplying hydrogen to the local ecosystem for industry and mobility. Damien shows solid knowledge on the hydrogen value chain, infrastructure project development, support schemes and hydrogen market trends. He fluently speaks French and English and has knowledge in Spanish.
