Internship in Hydrogen Certification

Job Description

Hinicio is looking for an intern to assist the company’s development of its services related to hydrogen certification. The internship includes active participation in the CertifHy project, a world-leading initiative involving multiple European stakeholders that are working towards facilitating the market for renewable and low-carbon hydrogen thanks to certification. The internship duration is of 6 months (ideally November 2022 – April 2023) with the intention of offering a long-term contract to the successful candidate if the internship is satisfactory.

The intern will be part of the team based in Paris, and will typically carry out the following tasks:

On Hinicio’s project portfolio regarding its hydrogen certification activities:

Assist in product development, including the development of certification schemes and associated digital tools.

Regulatory and policy analysis, especially at the European level and around hydrogen certification.

Desired skills & expertise

Final year master’s student with a degree in engineering, policy, or business from a top university. Strong interest or experience in sustainable energy and the hydrogen sector.
Some knowledge of project management best practices, tools, or methodologies.
Dynamic and hands-on approach to tasks.
Ability to bring projects forward in a complex and fast-moving environment with multiple stakeholders.
Strong communication skills, including excellent spoken and written English.
A collaborative spirit, motivation to learn, and a positive attitude to connect with colleagues and clients.

Nice to have

Knowledge or experience in one or several of the following areas: energy certification systems, EU energy policy, and regulations, renewable energy markets, hydrogen technology and policy, and innovation management.

Other languages (e.g., French, Dutch, Spanish, German) are a plus but not required.
