Job Description

Hinicio is looking for a consultant that will take an active role in acquiring, managing
and executing consultancy assignments for clients in Europe:

Business development: Contributing to the development of new business through direct cooperation with other staff and strategic partners.

Project management: Ensuring assignments (‘projects’) are delivered on-time – within scope and budget and according to client expectations.

Project execution: Quantitative and qualitative research. Business case assessments and techno-economic modelling, Pre-feasibility studies. Analysis of complex (renewable) energy systems. Market research; Policy and regulatory analysis. Public funding analysis and developing funding applications. Preparation of client meetings, reporting and delivering presentations.

Knowledge development: Contribute to the development and sharing of your team’s expertise and know-how with the support of your senior colleagues.

Writing proposals and developing client propositions.

Coaching staff to build a collaborative and inclusive environment while always meeting Hinicio’s high quality standards

Desired skills & expertise

Proven experience (3-5 years) in consultancy and project management in the energy sector. For example, with a top consulting firm, energy utility or innovative start-up. Previous experience with hydrogen and/or fuel cells is a plus.

A Masters Degree in Engineering, Physics, Innovation Science, Economics, Business or other energy related discipline.

Experience with managing project teams and the execution of market studies.

Experience with developing business cases and strategic consultancy assignments.

A track record of sucessfully delivering complex international projects under strict quality standards and deadlines.

A networker with a commercial mindset bringing proven business development experience.

Strategic thinking and experience with developing analytical frameworks and methodologies.

A wish to contribute to the transformation of the energy system and our clients efforts to achieve the global climate objectives.

A team player with strong motivation to collaborate and build our practice.

The ability to engage with clients, build and maintain relationships.

A supportive and dependable (senior) consultant, who shows creativity and resiliency on the job.

Solid writing, presentation and communication skills.

A perfect command of Dutch and English. French, Spanish and/or German are considered a plus.
