Job Description
Hinicio is looking for an analyst that can support the development and execution of client projects, with a focus on:
Client project delivery:
- Quantitative and qualitative research;
- Techno-economic modeling and analysis;
- Analysis of complex (renewable) energy systems;
- Market research;
- Policy and regulatory analysis;
- Preparation of client and internal reports and presentations.
Business development:
Contribute to the development of new project opportunities in the field of
sustainable energy and transport, research and innovation through direct
interactions with private companies, strategic partners and government
organizations
Knowledge building:
Collaborate on the development and sharing of expertise and know-how in
the field of hydrogen and fuel cells, energy storage and related topics.

Desired skills & expertise
At least 1-2 years of experience in one or several of the following areas:
Energy systems and infrastructure, renewable energies, hydrogen and fuel cell technologies, alternative fuels for mobility, innovation management,
public and private project financing, railway infrastructure, hydrogen regulation.
Proven experience in delivering strategic consulting projects and studies in the field of sustainable energy and transport in an international environment;
Business acumen and interest to generate new projects and business opportunities in liaison with other staff;
An open networker who is creative, selfaware, and solutions-oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills;
Multitasker able to manage multiple assignments in parallel under significant time pressure, in an organized manner;
A supportive teammate able to collaborate with client managers and sensitive to client needs;
A fluent command of English and French is required, with great writing skills;
Ideal candidates are interdisciplinary, combining experience from
Engineering, Economics and policy related aspects, either by academic background or experience;
Preferably a Master’s Degree in
Engineering, Economics or Policy studies.
Nice to have
Experience on hydrogen infrastructure deployment (Project development, French regulation)
Bright analytical skills combined with a hands-on approach to respond to clients in designing impactful and sustainable solutions.
Ability to bring projects forward in an exciting international environment.
Ability to translate complex concepts into actionable recommendations.
Collaborative spirit, motivated to learn, and a positive and entrepreneurialattitude to connect with colleagues and clients.
Other languages (eg. Dutch, Spanish, German) are a plus but not required.
