Johannes has a master’s degree in electrical energy at the Technische Universität Darmstadt with highest honors. He cursed his bachelor’s degree in the Pontificia Universidad Católica of Chile where his first work experience was reconverting the first electric city bus in Santiago. During his time in Germany, Johannes worked also for a utility company researching industry optimization and flexibility coped with renewables.
He has experience working on technical-economic analysis of energy systems, optimization models, and power systems planning. Johannes is also the main author of the publication: Evaluation of Multiparametric Linear Programming for Economic Dispatch under Uncertainty. In his career at Hincio, he’s been working on pre-feasibility studies, pilot projects, and site assessments for Power-to-X projects, mainly for decarbonizing hard-to-abate sectors, heavy-duty mobility, ammonia, and e-fuels. Johannes is a German-Chilean, fluent in English, Spanish, and German.
