Luis Miguel cumulates nine years of experience in sustainable mobility, hydrogen and fuel cells, renewable energy, green building and energy efficiency projects. He has been senior consultant at Hinicio’s Latin American office for the last two years, during which he has participated in several projects related to his areas of expertise. Before Hinicio, he worked as CTO for a Colombian consultancy firm specialized in sustainable buildings. He also worked Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems in Germany, researching and developing business models for the provision of grid ancillary services by large scale and distributed battery systems. During this time, he was coauthor in a number of peer-reviewed papers published in journals. Luis Miguel has a Biology Bachelor of Science, and a Master in Renewable Energy Management from the University of Freiburg. He speaks Spanish and English fluently, and has some command of German.
