Senior Consultant & Digital Leader
Paolo Lioi is an Electrical Engineer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile with experience in renewable energy, electrical markets, hydrogen systems and programming. During his career, he has developed several tools that allowed him to improve the teams performance and efficiency in which he has participated.
Between 2016 and 2017, he worked in Systep as a Project Engineer in markets and public policies making price studies of the Chilean electrical system, and developing digital tools based on Python to analyze the configuration of electrical networks of the modeled systems. From late 2017 to mid 2019, he worked as a Risk analyst at Banco de Chile, where he developed and implemented the mathematical models of customer eligibility and repayment capacity to determine the pre-approved loans offered by the bank.
Before joining Hinicio, during 2019 and 2020 he was part of Engie Impact, where he participated in different types of studies related to value chain of green hydrogen with different purposes, from mobility to the chemical industry. During this period he was also in charge of the development of a mobility model to simulate the operation of vehicles of different types: diesel, battery electric and hydrogen. Paolo speaks Spanish, English and Italian.
