Patrick Maio, founder and CEO of Hinicio, is an electrical engineer with a MBA specialized in international strategy and finance from Solvay Business School, Belgium. With 18 years of experience in the field of sustainable energy, mobility and climate change, Patrick has a wide-ranging expertise in renewable energies, a solid experience of successfully leading international project teams, the capacity to analyze and formulate strategic challenges, completed with a clear understanding of political decision making and the ability to mobilize and energize human talents. Prior to founding Hinicio, Patrick worked for 7 years at Ernst and Young’s management consulting practice in Brussels. Patrick holds several independent director board positions in renewable energy ventures in Europe and Latin America and is an expert for the European Parliament and European Commission on energy and climate change issues. He speaks fluent English, French, Spanish and Portuguese.
