With support from the World Bank, Hinicio conducted a market study and developed a business and financial model for electric buses and charging infrastructure for public transportation in San José, Costa Rica

Description

The study facilitated the implementation of the first batch of 500 electric buses (eBuses) for the San José Metropolitan Area by addressing technical components such as routes, depots, and stakeholder involvement (including transport concessionaires and OEMs). This was achieved by reviewing and improving the selected business model, supporting the structuring of the financial model, and providing an analysis of the long-term market potential (14 years).
