Description
The study included understanding the techno-economic parameters of the supply chain, evaluating different hydrogen routes to the mine under various time scenarios, calculating the levelized cost of hydrogen at the mining site, and performing a risk and system sensitivity analysis. The project’s scope and methodology involved estimating hydrogen demand based on the energy consumption of an FC+BESS truck along the mining site’s working cycle, defining a design basis for the optimization work, conducting comprehensive systemic modeling that respects both technical constraints and boundary conditions of each scenario, and selecting an optimal configuration.
