Santiago, 9 October 2025 – Hinicio Chile has been awarded the “Quantification” seal by HuellaChile, the program of the Chilean Ministry of the Environment that recognizes organizations taking concrete action in quantifying, reducing, and neutralizing their GHG emissions. The award was presented during the Chile Carbon Forum 2025, where more than 300 public and private entities were acknowledged for their climate progress.
This is the first time Hinicio Chile receives the distinction, which certifies the independent verification of its GHG emissions over the year 2024, marking a major milestone in our journey toward sustainable operations.
Ignacio Kahler, Analyst at Hinicio Chile and member of CYAN, Hinicio’s internal sustainability initiative, received the award and shared:
“This recognition reinforces our commitment to contribute actively to Chile’s national GHG quantification efforts. By advancing towards a verified national carbon inventory, we aim to strengthen transparency and data quality. Key pillars for achieving global leadership in climate accountability within the coming years.”
