Hinicio supported the conceptualization, preliminary design, and non-binding RFQ process management of clean ammonia plant in Barranquilla, Colombia.

Description

The analysis and design basis for the clean ammonia project included a review of the state-of-the-art ammonia value chain and a site assessment evaluation. The best energy supply setup for the plant was determined through techno-economic optimization and configuration sensitivity analysis. Additionally, Hinicio prepared clean ammonia process conceptual design package, which included FEL-1 deliverables, equipment quotations, and a Class 4 CapEx estimate. The project also emphasized understanding the financial, social, and environmental implications to ensure informed and sustainable decision-making.
