The 3rd International Hydrogen Congress, the most prominent event on this topic in Colombia, will be held from April 9 to 11 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Bogota. This third edition spread over three days, promises a global approach for the first time, with the participation of experts from leading entities in the energy and hydrogen market worldwide.
The first day will focus on the Colombian context, exploring public sector developments, strategic synergies between different actors, hydrogen projects, and hubs, as well as just transitions in the country. The second day will address the international landscape, with the participation of experts from various regions of the world, including Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and North America. Finally, the third day will focus on hydrogen projects and their derivatives, looking at both supply and demand in sectors such as industry, transportation, and agriculture, as well as exploring topics such as white hydrogen.
On this third day, Hinicio, a key partner of the event, will present the conference “Overcoming the Prisoner’s Dilemma: Effective Cooperation for Shared Hydrogen Infrastructure”, led by Luis Miguel Diazgranados, Operations Manager of Hinicio in Colombia. This session aims to address the challenges and solutions to develop an efficient common infrastructure for the production, storage, distribution, and use of low-emission hydrogen and/or its derivatives. In addition, Hinicio will have a booth where our experts will offer assistance in hydrogen project development, business and strategy, and certification.

At least 70 organizations are expected to attend, with the participation of industry leaders, ambassadors, representatives of academia, public sector entities, and representatives of international cooperation and financing organizations, such as the World Bank, the European Investment Bank, CORFO, GIZ, and the Inter-American Development Bank.
